The Time's They Are A Changin
Have to go with technology. I'm 60 and tried to keep up with changes so I could continue to connect with my children. They were always priority number one. Sending an email, text, Tweet or facebook post still makes my old friends happy. Don't have to worry about them being in the shower etc. They can respond when it's convenient for them and likewise. We can also setup a good time for a phone call. The teens and younger is what I worry about. The irresponsible ones are abusing the technology with sexting, bullying or some other form of deviant behavior. I am currently going under chemotherapy so anytime I reach out to friends or family with todays technology I get quick responces. My 82 year old parents, I CALL! That ship sailed long ago For them to learn on a computer or smartphone. It's too bad because my Mom has a sister that lives 2000 miles away and could keep in touch everyday with todays technology. Her sister has a computer and emails my cousins and could email her. Oh well.
